Nice

I like how it starts really calming and the gets more intense as the song goes on. That was pretty cool.

I lke how it has "breaks" and transitions that really complement the song, work with the flow really well, and manage not to clash at all.

The voices were a little weird and sounded a tad bit off, but definitely weren't bad. I can also say the same thing about the dubstepish parts as well. You still did a good job of not making the dubstep bass drop parts too harsh which is good.

Lastly, it really fits what you were going for and I thought it was cool how well the song fit with that last part of of the description.

Overall, a pretty good song. You've got some talent.

Thanks shrimpchris. I spent a lot of time focusing on keeping things moving and evolving in this one. Vocals are still new grounds for me, I'm slowly getting more accustomed to using them but it will still take time for me to get it totally right. :) Glad to see you also liked the description! :D

Sounds quite touching.

I like the feel this has and it really does the job of beig relatively tear jerking, but I personally want more melody-wise. I like the melody, it just needs more... I don't know, substance.

I still like it though and I'm very glad that you put it in the Review Request club for us to give it a listen, it was worth my precious time. Thanks for the song and I personally hope you come back to this and perfect it.

Coop said something similar, and it's funny that both of you mentioned that, since there is more melody written, but it's intended for a quicker tempo and doesn't sound right at this pace. I think I'll seriously consider coming back to this and turning it into something a little fuller.

Your review is very much appreciated, shrimpchris. Thanks RRC.

It has a nice sound.

I like the feel you gave this song since it can have different meanings depending on how you look at it. Utter defeat. Or a glorious victory.

I like the flute, but the other instruments you used really shone once or twice each and all helped the song in their own ways, but I would've liked to hear a clarinet or ocarina instead of a flute. I don't know why since the flute worked really well, but I just wanted to hear those instruments instead.

The trumpets also worked well and I think you did a good job with them and the rest of the brass ensamble.

Anyways, great piece. It really has kind of an epic feel that works so well. Keep up the good work!

Hmm... I generally ignore the rest of the woodwinds and much of the strings as a brass-lover and trombone player (I know, don't touch what we fear, eh?), but I'll look into incorporating these instruments in the future. I liked the mysterious feel the flute offered at the beginning and I do think it might be interesting to bring in more woodwinds later on.

Thanks for the review!

Nice improvement.

I think I spelled that wrong.

Anyways, I think you did a great job fixing this up to fit what you were going for better.

I still love that part that kicks in at 3:00 after the "Break" and the laughing sound effect was a great addition to that part.

The rain sound effect was cool and really helpedd the atmosphere of the song, but was a tad bit too loud. Still cool though.was

The wavy sound (I can't remember for the life of me what it's called though. Modulation or something)added to the notes at 1:58 really helps that part fit the feel.

Overall, great work and I look forward to more from you.

Definitely a great start.

Overall, this is really good for a "WIP" (it seems complete, but can use some tweaks, which is why I used the quotation marks.)

Anyways, it starts out sounding really good, but gets a little repetitive for about 10 or so seconds before it changes pace. I like that little break there and love the sound it has at 2:57 when the beat comes back and that techno synth starts.

Overall, you really matched the song with what you were going for really well, it's just a tad repetitive.

Also, it makes me think of a villain that's obviously evil, but is just having fun screwing around with everypo- err... I mean everybody. Good job!

Awesome work!

This sounds absolutely wonderful!

I think you made a wonderful choice in instruments for this and didn't hear any flaws.

The feel that this version has sounds kind of like a film score. It would work amazingly well in setting up the premise of an epic pirate adventure ia a montage style. Good job getting that kind of feeling across, really well done my good sir.

I don't really have much else to say other than 5'd, faved, and I'm looking forward to more of your music.

Thanks for the review!

I really enjoy writing classical music for that same reason. Going on adventures through music is my stuff. Plus, who doesn't like pirates and ponies?

More to come :)

Pretty good

It has a great lead and the beat is nice. I particularly like how the melody switches between a piano and the different synths without really being all that noticeable. Not much else I can say. I think it needed something extra but I can't really say what, so I'll give it a 5/5 and a 9/10. Good job!

Omnivore responds:

Thanks! I really was inspired by ATB to make this track, one of their hit classics, 'Don't Stop'.

Quite stunning.

To be honest there isn't really too much to say. I think that the feel of this song is similar to one in a film score. Possibly the intro? The end seems somewhat abrupt but is still great. Overall this song is amazing and like InsanityPika said is one of the few (out of many) song remixes that actually manages to completely surpass the original. I hope you manage keep up this amazing work.

Amazing.

I definitely agree with the guy below the guy below me, it would be great in a zelda game! And it was awesome!

This... Was..... AWESOME!!!

This was obviously one of the best remixes of this song and i loved this, a little heavy on the background music though.

Just some shithead.
